Neil Wienand
CEO
A highly motivated and accomplished senior executive with over 30 years of business experience in various disciplines, Neil is the founder and architect of EDWARDS Information Broadcast Pty Ltd. He obtained his private pilot’s licence, has military communications and RADAR experience and also wrote the amateur radio exams. With more than 20 years’ senior corporate experience in resorts & hospitality industry, Neil has managed hotel startups from concept thru completion to operational viability.
Neil ran his own consultancy in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning. He has excellent IT capabilities and it was he who developed the patented EDWARDS innovation and sollutions. He was instrumental in securing use of the patented Mobile Multimedia Distribution Platform and has the following graduate and post graduate qualifications: BCom, BCom (Hons), CTA, CA (SA)
David Mathie
Director
David has performed many strategic management consulting assignments in the international arena, including: as Chief Industrial Architect for the European Space Agency (Science Division); as an architect of the Czech & Slovak economic privatisation programme (changing a command economy to a free market economy) and its implementation in the Czech Republic. He was a founding Partner of Ernst & Young Consultants (Italy). He currently provides strategic management consulting and project financing consulting across all industries. David is a co-founder of EDWARDS Information Broadcast Pty Ltd.
Trained in electronics and telecommunications and an internationally recognised project management professional, David held engineering and management positions before turning to management consultancy; he developed his skill set across many industries (aerospace & defence, mining, oil & gas, resorts & hospitality, telecommunications, etc.) in many cultures & countries (Australia, Czech & Slovak Republics, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, SE Asia, UK, USA). Fluent in Italian, he also speaks conversational French, German and Dutch.
Warren Stanley
Director
Warren is a successful leader with a 35 year track record of success in Institutional, Corporate and SME Banking as well as general management, start up and business turnaround strategies.
Warren has worked for local and International Banks at Senior levels of Management including Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ANZ Bank, Barclays Bank Australia and Citibank UK.
He comes with a wealth of knowledge of East Africa, having spent over 15 years in the region in Banking and consulting roles in the region.
